Winter sore throat “tea”- In a jar combine lemon slices, organic honey and sliced ginger. Close jar and put it in the fridge, it will form into a “jelly”. To serve- spoon jelly into mug and pour boiling water over it. Store in fridge 2-3 months.
This isn’t as tasty, but when I have a bad cold, what I always do is chop up 8-12 cloves of garlic very fine, add a teaspoon each of turmeric and ginger powder (tho actual sliced ginger is better) and a heaping ½ tsp of chilli powder, and mix all of that into about ¼ cup honey, and I take about a teaspoon of the mixture straight every couple of hours. It kind of clears you out and soothes your throat all at once, and the turmeric and garlic are supposed to be antibacterial / good for your immune system (though this is all possibly some witchy-poo rubbish).
